In “Retrato en verde”, the figure emerges from a restricted palette that oscillates between cold greens, grays and whites, generating a silent and contemplative atmosphere. The fragmented face, structured in curved lines and superimposed planes, proposes an identity in constant displacement.

The work suggests a poetic tension between shadow and light: one side of the face sinks into the dark density while the other opens towards clarity, as if the figure simultaneously inhabits two emotional states. This portrait does not seek to describe, but to reveal the inner depth of a character that unfolds in layers, guided by a cubist sensibility reinterpreted from an intimate and contemporary language.
